Hello,

Sorry for the slow response. We've heard of this type of problem, but
usually only on Solaris boxes. It has to do with a bug in the Motif
filebrowser. You might try the following workaround:

Modify $GEOMROOT/makefiles/mk.rs6000 by adding "-DSVR4" to the SYSCOPTS
definition. Rebuild geomview by cd'ing to $GEOMROOT/src/bin/geomview/x11,
doing a make clean and then a make. The files affected by this change are

$GEOMROOT/src/bin/geomview/x11/gvload.c
$GEOMROOT/src/bin/geomview/x11/gvsave.c

Please inform us as to whether this works or not. That's because we
don't have an IBM rs6000 here to test builds of Geomview.

thanks,
Daeron Meyer
