I used to use "nicer", written by Stuart Levy, on my Iris Indigo to
lower the priority of running jobs way below normal levels.  Since
I upgraded to IRIX 5.2 last week, it seems not to work.  Also, I do
not see it on your server any more.

Do you know whether it no longer works under 5.2?  Have you taken it
out of circulation?  Is there any replacement?  What I liked was that
you could change the priority after the job had started.
